356470 2005-05-18 22:16:00 Received a box of goodies from someone the other day, including two Commodore 64C manuals. They are no good to me so if anyone else can put them to good use they can have them, otherwise they will be going out in the recycle bin.

Book 1:
Commodore 64C Personal Computer
GEOS deskTop 1.5 User's Manual
by Berkeley Softworks

Book 2:
Commodore 64 MicroComputer
User Manual
by Commodore Computer

PM me if you want them.

356471 2005-05-19 05:28:00 Why don't you buy a decent computer and use the manuals? :)

GEOS would be better than Windows. (Why haven't we got a ":shovel:" smilie for strirring/)

356472 2005-05-19 08:13:00 I was wondering whether you would be interested or not, Graham. Thought that if you weren't then they would be destined for the recycle bin next week. :D

You need to change your custom user title. I can't remember the good one I thought up for you the other day but "Pedantic stirrer" would do for now. Or "Stirring pedantic". ;)

356473 2005-05-19 23:53:00 I never liked the Commodore series, starting with the very first one. Amiga, yes, even though it was made by Commodore, they didn't design it.. Graham L (2)
356474 2005-05-20 01:46:00 Ah... well they were way before my time so I wouldn't be familiar with their delights. :D

Oh, and a memory reboot brought back that username title I thought of for you: how about Cynical pedantic? ;)
