| 655191 | 2008-04-02 04:02:00 | I have just learned that Windows Scheduler will not work unless the user logs on with a password. Without going to all the hassle of setting up user accounts for all the family, is there any way around this problem? :badpc: :thanks | Richard (739) | ||

| 655193 | 2008-04-02 04:12:00 | Yep! Trying to get SyncToy to run regular backups . Scheduled tasks setup asks for user name and password and won't complete the task asked for . April PC World page 25 Q&A says 'Scheduled Tasks won't work in XP unless you have a log-on password' . This seems to confirm the problem I am having . Thanks for the speedy reply Speedy . That really was quick! |

That really was quick! What? I run SyncToy through Scheduled Tasks and my account doesn't have a password to log on. Try to set it up again. |
