| 655745 | 2008-04-03 04:25:00 | I installed a new SATA DVD burner (Asus DRW-2014L1T), now device manager doesn't recognise it yet reports it's working fine. It also doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. It powers on fine and can open and eject with no problems. I've tried swapping the SATA data cable which didn't change anything. BIOS recognises it and shows up as my primary boot device. The SATA drivers for my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2) were installed about a month ago. I also have a 250GB Western Digital SATA hard drive installed and working fine. Any idea what's going on? Cheers. |

What drivers should I be looking to reinstall? The drive itself didn't come with any drivers and had the 'Vista Ready' sticker on the box. The SATA drivers I'm sure are working fine. |
