| 656124 | 2008-04-05 04:11:00 | I have my All in One set up to receive faxes on my Faxibility line. Telecome tell me Faxibility is working fine, but I can't get the fax to automatically pick the difference between faxes and phone calls - I have the fax set to Single Ring. I am not receiving any faxes automatically and if I leave the phone ringing the answer phone picks up and we get the fax scream. Any suggestions? | Brett Mudge (13585) | ||

| 656126 | 2008-04-05 06:44:00 | Welcome to Press F1 Brent Not being smart - but get another dedicated line for the Fax. I have seen this happen lots with customers MFC's of all different brands, and no matter what is tried, or what settings Telecom / Telstra or the MFC manufacture suggest nothing works, all they say --- "well that should work" The only fix was a separate line. Thats what I have had to do as well, and I have an old HP - V40 that does the exact same thing. I can set it to answer any call , which is pointless, but try to set it to select what's a Fax and what's a phone call =:groan: |
