| 656096 | 2008-04-05 02:07:00 | :mad: I have had my computer running for 6 hours to install the up dates which I do automaticly each day. This is the first updates this computer has installed. Its has 8 updates to install but when it get to 11% installed on the first up date it gets stuck. The computer dose not crash and you can go into any other programmes you like but the updates just will not install. It is Vista Home edtion. |

| 656099 | 2008-04-05 02:41:00 | Are you trying to install SP1 for Vista?? And is a previous RC version of SP1 installed?? If it is, I think you have to uninstall it, before you install SP1 |

| 656101 | 2008-04-05 02:51:00 | It'll be in add/remove programs or whatever its called in Vista | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 656102 | 2008-04-05 02:57:00 | To remove the SP1RC go to the control Panel, "Programs and Features" and select "View installed updates" from the top left of the task pane. Select the SP1RC update ----Click Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330), and then click Uninstall. Any previous SP's MUST be removed before trying to install the new Service Pack. |
