| 656193 | 2008-04-07 15:10:00 | Why does everyone keep praising Nero? I consider it to be the worst bit of rubbishy bloatware ever written. I have been looking for a smaller simpler tool for ages and am still looking. All I want to do is copy data files to rewritable DVD. The Freeware, CDBurnerXP is now in version 4 and has a nice clean GUI. I find it very easy to use and like the fact that it writes to EVERY type of disc. Between those apps, there is nothing (that I've come across) that can't be done. :thumbs: I still like Nero, but the latest two versions have been bloated like a dead pig lying in the sun. :( |

However just been looking at the helpfiles of cdburnerxp and notice that it says that there is a known conflict with Comodo firewall. I had been thinking of changing from Kerio to Comodo firewall but must not be too hasty after reading the caution ! Misty :2cents: :D |
