Stealing is stealing. Violence is violence. However murder is worse than slapping someone with a wet fish

360038 2005-06-01 07:08:00 " . . . the fact that Telecom don't seem to be charging for phonecalls from 027 moblies tonight . I have a 3c credit, but was able to make several calls . Similar stories from others . "

It seems that many people noticed that there was a delay in the billing process . Enough of them made enough "free" calls to overload the network .

Guess what . All those calls will have been charged for by now . :D

What is it with cell phones? I am starting to believe that they do cause serious brain damage to users . Or does a serious brain malfunction cause the use of cell phones? :@@:
It seems that the Debit process didn't work out well for Telecom . I had a 3c credit, made two phonecalls (that I would have made, regardless) and today my account balance is 0 .

Although, I have yet to top up, as I can't get through atm (getting engaged signal) . I guess I could find that I am debited as soon as I top up, time will tell .

Someone at Telecom is having a bad day/week!

360039 2005-06-01 07:21:00 'Stealing ' from Telecom? What exactly have they got on offer that's worth stealing? manicminer (4219)
360040 2005-06-01 08:54:00 If you didn't currently know your balance you'd just keep on making phone calls like normal. It's not theft as well. Delayed charging does happen though, beware of that. As it's a prepay account though you may be able to argue that you shouldn't be able to get into debt while on prepay, if you don't have the funds it shouldn't bloody let you use the service to begin with. I've argued this before and got most of my credit back (Vodafone). I wouldn't recommend it though, it also took several months. Jeremy (1197)
