Kubuntu is okay but ubuntu seemed better, i want something that doesnt look to "cheap-ish" Kubuntu is pretty good looking. Whats Opensuse like?I've always like the KDE type look to Gnome. I haven't seen or run openSUSE for a while, but it always had style. Example (en.opensuse.org) and another example (en.opensuse.org). |

CompizFusion is where the "Wow" is at, forget Vista's tagline "The Wow starts now", and check it out, it should be tagged "We left Vista for dead but decided that wasnt sexy enough so we're still coming up with cool / useful stuff" ;)
Definitely worth waiting and trying to live with your current distro for another 3 weeks if-possible, then getting the 8.04 K/Ubuntu.. or play around with other distros during that time :) |
