Under KiwiTT proposals, no need for special taxes on tobacco and alcohol, as all health issues would be user pays, which means a huge % of "users" of those products would die at an early age, being unable to afford any medical care. Or medical insurance, as the premiums would also be unaffordable for smokers or drinkers with no subsidised taxpayer health care. The traffic issue in Auckland would be self limiting, as nobody could afford to live there long term, as the local taxes for roading and infrastructure would cripple them. Likewise no unemployment benefit or DPB of any sort. If you want such benefits, buy an insurance policy. Not sure where you get the money to do so.... Re the prison, don't forget Jack, the prisoners have to pay for their own keep as well, it cannot be subsidised by us. Compulsory euthenasia squads will fix those that don't pay, as long as they have enough money for paying those enforcers. Perhaps that is the role of the Army?	godfather (25)

THREE Push more money into protecting wildlife, (more fishery officers etc). FOUR Slow down immigration. I hate to be harsh but we have TOO MANY ASIANS! I know you're all thinking it, this is New Zealand NOT japan! FIVE More police around areas of race-based criminals. SIX Encourage BOY RACING with designated skid pads around the place (we have skateparks don't we) and target mid-life crisis males with too much cash speeding in their euro cars! SEVEN Ban all pop, hip-hop, rap, r&b music. Encourage rock and punk bands. Other music is still allowed (ska, dub, classical, dance, etc) EIGHT Kull all polititions and start over. NINE Raise taxes on Cigarettes, lower taxes on booze. TEN Harsher penalties for Rapists, murderers, child abusers, environmental security endangerers. That should do it. Get some decent, hard politians that aren't in it for the money. Imagine "Open Source Politics", an open forum where all new zealanders can contribute. Agree about the wildlife, but don't feel threatened by Asians . Politicians in a small country like NZ are generally decent people . Few are drawn by the money . Some of them seem like idiots because that is the only way to get noticed . :lol: One thing I'd like to see is a weekly web based referendum on topical issues . Bar them from coming back into NZ. 2) Give us all heavily subsidised lightening fast unlimited broadband!! 3) Get all the idiots off the road. 4) Stop wasting tax payers money on things like sex-change operations etc etc 5) Ban politicians from slagging each other off at the expense of actually doing some useful work for a change. Introduce a football style yellow card/red card system in parliament. 6) Drastically cut politicians' pay. (that should allow for massive tax cuts all round!) 7) No more bending over backwards kissing Maori bums. 8) Take GST off fruit and veg. 9) Vow to stop changing things for the sake of change.
