| 359607 | 2005-05-30 09:25:00 | OK, over the last 15 minutes there have been 3 of these and lots of random streetlights turning on and off (and blocks of HOUSES flashing on and off). What's goin on? There was a kindof flash, and my PC rebooted and all the houses I could see except in the far distance went black - EXCEPT ours. There are streetlights dotted around that are on, but our street is black. My house is the only one nearby I can see that is still lit (who knows why). Then it happened 2 more times, with random whole blocks of houses and streetlights turning on and off in between. Whats going on? Cue creepy music..... |

And the neighbours might want to phone to ask if the phone is out. :D Sounds pretty lively down yr end george12. Up here in Northland I haven't had a power cut / surge in all the time I've been on the mains. (3 months) But anyway I am cautious about all this wild wattage in the sky. Friend of mine has a wise maxim- "Expect the worse and you'll never be dissappointed." :thumbs: (would rather like it if the Pressf1 admins wouldn't cycle the emoticons) |
