| 657200 | 2008-04-08 22:44:00 | My connection to internet frequently disconnect every 5 minutes or so; although it will automatically reconnect, it still a major annoyances. Anybody has the same problem? I tried to call Xnet, but I was on hold for over than 30 min. My hardwares are: D-Link modem DSL-302G and Netgear wireless router. My location is Invercargill, Southland. |

| 657202 | 2008-04-10 03:21:00 | I only have one phone jack and it only connected to the modem and phone via an ADSL Line Filter BT + RJ11. The phone is a cordless 5.8ghz so in theory it should not disturb the wireless router which is using 2.4ghz. |

| 657207 | 2008-04-10 12:25:00 | First place to start - unplug every other device from the phone line leaving only the ADSL modem connected - Don't forget sky decoder if you have sky digital, faxes, answer machine etc Test and see if you still have the problem. If you have a monitored alarm then this won't be possible but then you should have a master splitter installed and don't need filters on all the phones/fax/sky decoder. |
