361600 2005-06-06 05:30:00 OK . . I wonder .

I notice that New Zealand is X hours away, but . . .

I ALSO SEE IT IS 7 MINUTES FAST TOO!

. . . How does that happen? :p

361601 2005-06-06 05:47:00 Yeah, I noticed the clock at the bottom of this forum has always been 6 -7 minutes too fast. Looks like PCW doesn't use ntp to synchronize time. vinref (6194)

Rats, we've been sprung . We are trying to sneak away from the rest of the world . We thought if we did it very slowly and as nonchalantly as possble, nobody would notice . You're either with us or agin us Joe, which one is it to be

I thought we were already ahead of most of the world.
Blame it on England with GMT.
Fortunately we are a small country and only have one time zone. This is not true for America, Australia etc.

Yep, Terry Porritt has a point there, I think the problem is either vBulletin is a wee bit off or the press f1 server has lost a bit of time.

361608 2005-06-06 16:33:00 Well . . . if NZ is a little FASTER in sidereal timekeeping, then I suggest the reason is that it is slowly moving EAST, toward the US!

Hey!!! What's with that? HUH?

def: SIDEREAL>>The orbital period is the time it takes a planet (or another object) to make one full orbit .
