656788 2008-04-09 06:05:00 I had read that the Soprano was a good solid case. I'm not sure if there is a family of Soprano's or what...
What about this one (www.tomshardware.com)?

I'm thinking a good aluminum case is good, and having a large interior means better airflow.

Any recommends?

LOL, yes, thats a nice case, I am bias of course with my TJ06, but I like to isolate the chambers of the case. The TJ09 is good for pulling air through to the Graphic card area where if you have SLI it's a great boon.

I prefer the TJ06 to keep the cpu area cool with the wind tunnel here (i13.photobucket.com) as I'm not a big SLI avocate, especially with only a 20"WS.

The TJ09 is aluminum so light and cool, the TJ06 is steel chassis, aluminum front and $200 cheaper!

656791 2008-04-09 06:27:00 I've got a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream, which is pretty much a Soprano with a facelift. I have an 8800GT too, and it idles at 52 degrees, load at 65-80, which are normal temps for an 8800GT. I also put in a PCI slot fan, which extracts hot air. qazwsxokmijn (102)
656792 2008-04-09 07:33:00 Ok, so I did my budget, and I've only got about $225 to spend on a case,
unless I want to wait till next week and make that $350 something

656794 2008-04-10 05:13:00 So I've bought my gear...
E8200, 2x 8800GT's, 2Gb DDR2800 G SKill ram, ASUStek P5n32-E SLI and a Coolermaster CM690 case.

Will hopefully get that sometime next week.

656795 2008-04-10 21:17:00 2 x 8800GT's with a 19' 1440 *900 WS?.....1 of those would have been plenty! SolMiester (139)
