656747 2008-04-07 22:05:00 Hey, i am planning to get Battlefield 2142 and i was wondering if anyone has it?

I was wondering if my specs could play it??

AMD Athlon Dual Core 4200+
1gb Ram
Nvidia Geforce 6100.

No.
Onboard graphics? You need a separate graphics card. A decent one,

and 2 Gb of RAM.

so the lords have spoken

my mate had a hard time running it with 1gig of ram and a 7600gt

that extra ram does make a big difference in game, especially when trying to know people hahahaha :D gotta get my knife gold

also if youre playing with low specs DO NOT GO INTO TITAN MODE your pc will have a lagg spaz and you will rage quit

ANDDD never...EVER...use the voss-lar...ever....ever...ever...its shunned upon :P only the nubs use it mwahahaha most clan people use base weapons because 1, theyre better, eg the sniper rifles have a larger round, fire faster, and have better scopes then the zellar-h, but the zellar h can destroy anti personal mines/claymores and motion mines. The Krylov(PAC) and the SCAR(EU) are the base assault guns, most people use the krylov, but when you get more experienced youll notice that the scar is for more experienced people and is really better. The support weapons are great as well, if you can master them then youll have a huge advantage. Engineer kits arent used muchu nless your in titan.

656749 2008-04-08 02:14:00 Mine runs fine on a 256MB 7600GS - but I do have 3G RAM, which may make a difference - the game regularly uses 700+ MB.

I was forced to temporarily downgrade to a X1300 when my GPU died (364 days into the warranty period!) - it worked fine as long as you turned the settings down.

656751 2008-04-08 07:04:00 Are you able to get the same RAM module as your existing if you are then you should be able to run dual channel. stormdragon (6013)

Try EB games. You get a 7 day full refund, so if it doesn't work just bring it back and you'll get all your money back. Heaps better than selling at a lost on trademe ;)
