362915 2005-06-14 00:45:00 You are all missing a crucial requirement for browsers; standards compliance. As a developer I couldn't care a less about eye candy. Firefox is the best of a bad bunch in this respect (by quite some margin I might add), it's free, cross platform, and relatively secure. SJD (8332)

Good point, but Firefox and Opera still make up less than 10% or so of the browser market.

362917 2005-06-15 23:50:00 Most stats would suggest higher than that methinks, and this (www.w3schools.com) would suggest the trend is towards IE alternatives. SJD (8332)
362918 2005-06-16 01:23:00 SJD, I like the quotes at the bottom of that page:

"The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple."

"First get your facts; then you can distort them at your leisure."

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics."

362920 2005-06-16 10:20:00 Not neccesarily.... That's a pretty broad statement! Chilling_Silence (9)

362923 2005-06-19 09:44:00 So here I am in Firefox. Seems a pale imitation of Opera :) This right click then left click to get a tab is silly. The options seem fairly limited too. I suppose it satisfys undemanding people. Winston001 (3612)
