I see the seller in NinjaBear's link comes from Dunedin. There are 2 identically-dressed guys in the pic. I'm guessing they were members of the Selwyn Ballet in a Capping Concert - and now this student's flogging off all he can before leaving town/the flat. (Selwyn College is an old-established student hostel run by the Anglican Church.Traditionally, they've supplied a corps-de-ballet performance for Capping Concerts since grandaddy was a nipper) However, this is a very basic outfit. The burliest looked their most fetching in the Swan Lake-style tutus of my era, in my opinion. |
