361611 2005-06-07 09:16:00 It's the server clock, not Vbulletin. Been this way for ages. I have mentioned it, cross my heart I have, but when you wander into the over-worked, under-paid world of IT and say that users on PressF1 are complaining that the clock is off by 7 minutes ......

.... well, let's just say the response is, ah, colourful.

361612 2005-06-07 09:26:00 Well . . . if NZ is a little FASTER in sidereal timekeeping, then I suggest the reason is that it is slowly moving EAST, toward the US!

Hey!!! What's with that? HUH?

def: SIDEREAL>>The orbital period is the time it takes a planet (or another object) to make one full orbit .

In fact we at PF1 are 7 minutes into your future Joe . Or 7 mins in front of your Earth if you like . Not a lot but hey, its enough .

The big plan was to hack into your electoral ballot computers and get Michael Moore elected instead of the big W . Unfortunately Metla and Chill got sidetracked by a clever Japanese puzzle and let George through by accident . Sorry about that . :D

I wonder if its like FC3 installation, where a few updates down the track and it cant talk to the interweb time server anymore?

I was as concerned about the clock being out about as much as the overworked, underpaid .... ... but that might be it! :2cents:

361614 2005-06-08 02:55:00 Actually, it looks like if the time there is 7 minutes ahead of true time, then you guys are constantly, chronically late for everything!!!!! :D SurferJoe46 (51)

361618 2005-06-08 05:37:00 It's even simpler: That big earthquake on December 26 was a really big one. (The earth is still "ringing"). Noone's where they were on December 25. Graham L (2)
