| 657854 | 2008-04-10 22:18:00 | Hi, We got Brother DCP 330C printer. It has the USB port, which can be connected to PC using USB wire. We got one desktop and laptop. And wireless modem and router. We want to connect it to laptop using wireless USB connection? Is it possible? Because this printer does not have any ethernet connection. If we use wireless USB adptor, can it connect to network. Because it is not written clearly in the manual about this. Before we buy USb Wireless Adptor, we want to confirm. Thanks, |

| 657855 | 2008-04-11 00:27:00 | No a wireless USB adaptor won't work. They will only work when connected to a PC/laptop as there is software that needs to be installed to configure the USB adaptor. Your best bet would be to connect it to the PC via the USB cable and make sure it is all working. Then you can setup sharing for it and the then install it on the laptop over the wireless network. The downside to this is that the PC will have to be turned on if you want to print from the laptop. |
