2005-06-14 09:44:00 | Of course! Read the stats section of the Site. IIRC, there is something like 25000 people concurrently on the site each night between 8 and 10 pm. Stats like that speak for themselves. Most people you'll find are quite honest because they simply have to be. Just read their trade history. You'll find a lot of people pride themselves in their high ratings :) Chill.

2005-06-14 09:51:00 | I used Trademe to get some old games (Xwing 95, Tie fighter 95, Star Trek Generations, C&C Red Alert: Counterstrike) which I havent been able to find in stores for over seven years and at dirt cheap prices compared to what it cost back then :D | bob_doe_nz (92) | |
2005-06-14 09:52:00 | I bought a car for about 4 grand less then its market value, paid 5 grand for it, Now I ride in style :D Use it when i am after a specific item, prices are good for some items, retarded on others. look at the prices of Xbox's, they go for $275 new at the junkhouse, and about $260 at trade me, for a 3 year old pile of junk.God damn things are worth $80 bucks max. People put a $25 chip in them, suddenly they are worth $380? Naked arse. And what really gets my goat is they allow pc sales with pirated software, Demo purposes my pimply hairy backside, lets ask Bill what he thinks of Trader52 selling a comp loaded with Devilsown XP corperate edition and Office 2003 for demo freakin purposes. Uh, No idea if there is a trader52, If there is then Sorry, Just made up a name.

2005-06-14 10:12:00 | I use Trademe to buy collectors books items (all pre-1940 of course :) ). Most people in that line are very friendly and nice to trade with. I much prefer the way Ebay operates though | Terry Porritt (14) | |
2005-06-14 10:14:00 | I use Trademe a lot. Buying washing machines & dryers etc for doing up & reselling. Had many excellent bargains for a fraction of there true value. Last weekend scored a 6yr old 7kg washing machine in 1st class condition. Owner was told by service company it needed new PCB board. Found fault was a loose fuse holder on board causing loss of power. Took 30 min. to fix and now will easy resell for approx. $450. Bought on trademe auction for $35 | Peter M (852) | |
