| 364860 | 2005-06-19 00:12:00 | To Steve_L : TY...it was fresh water, and in a local lake (Lake Skinner, near Temecula, California). I shore fished as usual there and have not had a good day like yesterday in a long long time. Catching over 100 Striped Bass over 10 lbs (I don't know if NZ'ers know the US value of a lb [pound], but it is roughly the weight of a pint of liquid). The olde saying "A pint's a pound, the world around" may or may not work for you guys. Anyway, I catch-and-release (no bait, just lures to minimize damage) but kept a pair of nice ones for the bb-q. One I kept is 17 lbs, the other is just 6 lbs. :D |
