Uninstall the Soundmax drivers in add/remove programs, BEFORE you install the file Ive just posted Leave the soundcard installed, youre only uninstalling the drivers then reinstalling them again. To see if that fixes the crash. Youre not removing the soundcard (well you cant remove it its onboard) |

I've posted a link to the ASUS drivers Just saw that it was posted while I was looking for the drivers, but if its got a Sound card, and NOT using onboard audio, the onboard wont be the correct ones - need the drivers for the CARD ;) Mind you the Onboard may be better than the card as well.
