| 658193 | 2008-04-12 12:17:00 | Howdy Can someone recommend a duplicate file remover that can search by file name. I currently use easy duplicate finder and it is great for filing identical files based on size which may have different names. However I want some that works on name, irrespective of size or file type. For example if I had a version of November rain as an mp3, wav and wma I could delete the 2 I don't want, or if they were both mp3 files but 1 was at 128 Kb and the other at 192 I could remove the lower quality file. I have used winXP's search function but that is slow and tedious. Any suggestions welcome cheers Ravage |

Though this site (snapfiles) says it's free, it may have changed to shareware. Also the file size is about 4 - 5 larger than the basic file finders... Maybe compare these freeware duplicate (www.snapfiles.com) file finders... |
