Open the task manager and see how much RAM is being used. If its a similar amount, or more than you have, that will be one big reason. Anti Virus: Do you have McAfee, Trend Micro or Nortons? If so, that will also be slowing down the PC a lot. Those programs are hogs. How old is the PC? |

Post back and tell us what you have. Are you on dial up or broadband? Get HijackThis (www.trendsecure.com) and post a log. |
