| 659351 | 2008-04-16 03:16:00 | My computer is going to the dogs, It's flooded in viruses and spyware, I'm going to clean install this weekend and want to know what security applications I will need to gather first, I have NOD32 anti spyware and anti-virus and windows firewall, however windows firewall always turns itself off. | 659353 | 2008-04-16 03:45:00 | Also, make sure you fully patch your Operating System before you start surfing the internet after your rebuild, and upgrade your web browser to either IE7 or Firefox 2.0.0.13 (preferably the latter). And don't use peer-to-peer software like Limewire either. |

| 659355 | 2008-04-16 05:26:00 | All I have on my XP installation is Zone Alarm firewall. There is also some protection in the modem/router from NAT, I guess. Touch wood, haven't needed anti virus software for years. |
