659015 2008-04-15 09:15:00 Hi

I have a very small project to finish and I need to match a font to the font used in some headings, I have figured out that the font is "Arial Rounded", however i don't have this on my system, I have "Arial Rounded Bold MT" and various non-rounded Arial fonts, and i have had a search on the net, and was a litlle suprised at the price of it,

So I thought as I have hundreds of demos graphics programs on cover cds from over the years, I might see if it is on one of them, Then i realised the ****e load of time it would take, so i thought I would ask here,

Does anyone know it "Arial Rounded" is in any graphics programs

And I do not mean the blinking "Arial rounded bold MT", there are about 2 trillion download locations for that

Thanks

659016 2008-04-15 09:42:00 Found plenty of Arial Rounded if you wanna pay for them - But while looking I found this:
Arial Rounded: Arial Rounded Bold. The regular versions of the rounded glyphs can be found in Gulim, Microsoft's Korean font set.

OR you can Go Here (http://www.fonts500.com/) and look through 500 different fonts - all free , when looking at bottom of page and you click on " how to install" hit the skip this ad to go to instructions.

Or since I'm a nice guy :p
You will have to uncompress ("unzip") the font. In order to do this you will need an application such as the shareware program WinZip to extract the font. Use this to uncompress the font to a temporary folder.

If you're using Windows XP, you may be able to open the .zip file just as you would open regular folders in Windows Explorer.

Alternative 1:

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts

Click on File > Install New Font

Navigate the browser to where your font is, select it, and then click on OK.

Alternative 2:

Simply drag-and-drop your font into the Fonts window (Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts).

Alternative 3:

You may also temporarily install fonts by double-clicking on their icon or name in Windows Explorer. This will open a preview window displaying a sample of the font. As long as this window stays open, the font will be available in most Windows programs. Nice when just testing the font.

659019 2008-04-15 19:52:00 I have Arial Rounded Bold MT on my PC. It must have come with CorelDraw I assume because I have not purchased Fonts for years.

Bold only, and underline.
no other variations on this one.

Yeah I saw that too, any idea what exactly it means, as i have no idea about the korean font set

The proble is the font needs to be rounded as the main logo (large text) has the font, but yes even Lucida Sans is fairly close, it's just the rounded thing

Yep, I assume Arial Rounded Bold MT came with Dreamweaver MX, but who knows, I am currently trying to find a back-up cd from 2 houses ago that had a stack of fonts on it, unfortunatly I can't remember what the CD was called and where it currently is and if it even has it on it,

Anyway might request the person find where they they got the blasted font from and if they still have it
