366416 2005-06-23 14:02:00 Hi,

Ive got a nokia 6630 cellphone. While I was testing a MSI 915GM2-L mainboard with a LGA 3.0 CPU, it reboots it self or just died when my phone rang.So just to make sure it is not a faulty mainboard,I took my phone and called mail and place it nearby a different mainboard (GA-661fxm with a Celeron Prescott) the pc reboot!
Then I tried the same with a genuine Intel server board with a P4 3.0 Prescott, POW!! dead.Switch it back on with an error message "Warning CPU Overheated!"
After that, I tried the same with an AMD, nothing happends. Then I tried it with a celeron non prescott, nothing happends.Strange...

366420 2005-06-24 06:10:00 what sort of cases did they have?

the cases are ment to sheild us from the interference the pc makes and also sheild the pc from outside interference.

add a few windows etc and the sheilding won't work well.

366421 2005-06-24 06:14:00 RF strength is subject to an inverse square law for intensity. "The closer the worser", so if you have a few watts of RF at a suitable frequency being deliberately radiated very close to a clocked system which uses relatively low power for its clock might easily affect it. 366422 2005-06-24 07:44:00 My mates phone makes all devices with speakers buzz loudly, even when turned off radio mode, and nearby screens buzz with lines running down them about 10 seconds before it receives a text. It's really stange :p george12 (7)
