Spent the last week sourcing cables and materials, Mounting the projector,building and painting the screen, setting up the Altec Lansing speakers. And then getting my eyeballs peeled back by the pure visual candy. This is just to big to go into a "show us ya desktop thread", The screen goes from floor to ceiling,measures just under 11 feet diagonal. Windows and webpages are perfectly readable, Movies are mindblowing, Games are just...outta this world.Also awesome for slideshows of the family photographs. Thats ingame footage.........You can see the desk I have my steering wheel mounted on in the bottem of most of the pics, along with my hammer and tape measure Anyhow, I comendared a little used room for the home cinema project, Mrs Metla was....well.....You could call it less then understanding. That aside, Projector cost $1300, Less then half the price of a reasonable sized television. |
