| 365215 | 2005-06-19 06:13:00 | It was parked under the Glenfield Mall. To be strictly correct Mrs Misty saw it first and despite having very mixed feelings about my spending time on PressF1 (and that is putting it mildly !) she drew my attention to it. :p The car is a Honda, very dark navy blue. Under metla it says "from 0 to ***** in 4.0 secs" (which is not a very nice phrase to my way of thinking about it). Anyway, Metla, if you were thinking of getting that numberplate, sorry - too late - unless you have been up visiting someone on the North Shore ? :horrified cheers Misty :D |

| 365216 | 2005-06-19 07:37:00 | "from 0 to ***** in 4 . 0 secs" But some people think he does react in less than 4 secs ( in an nice way of course . . . ) |

| 365222 | 2005-06-19 20:49:00 | As are Jap cars. I know what you mean Metla, they destroyed the traditional bloke's weekend of beer and greasy fingernails by not requiring weekly repairs and obliterated the market for wheel widening, twin carburettors and free-flow exhausts by making stock-standard turbo models that would blow a hotted Holden or Ford into the weeds. Reliable & economic performance in a modern car any sheila could buy and drive took all the fun out of it. Indian cars are the way to go, import a Hindustani Ambassador and relive the 1950's Morris Oxford experience. Cheers Billy 8-{) :2cents: |

| 365224 | 2005-06-19 22:51:00 | Ditto the above, without question.I beg to differ :stare: i'm currently looking at the embedded grime on my hands that is the result of having to strip out every component inside my isuzu trucks cab so the welderer man can cut out enough chunks of rust and replace with enough metal to set me back hundreds and the vehicle is 20yo and only done 500,000 Km! Currently i'm back to borrowing my friends truck (or "campervan" as she insists on calling it  ) just to get anything done! Theres rust in the cab floor, and in the front bit under the windscreen, and the gear linkages are sloppy...... rust rust rust........ :yuck: |
