| 365664 | 2006-08-14 08:43:00 | I have just had the worst dealings with Supercr*p over the past three weeks. I I ordered some parts urgently for a customers computer rebuild. HDD, RAM, DVD-RW, CPU, MoBo and box. I paid the money $596 into there account on monday and organised for my courier to collect the next day at 4pm. I thought that this would give them plenty of time to clear the funds and package up the goods. Well goods never arrive on Wednesday or thursday. So I was getting pretty red hot by now. Call the courier and was told that the driver went to collect goods but was told that there was no order under that stated order number. AAHHHH :angry Anyway managed to get them collected and get them here on saturday morning and an extra cost to myself. Well you will never guess what. They had forgotton the RAM. :angry :angry What a bunch of numpties. So I called them and told them that was good was the rest of this stuff with out RAM. The computer wouldnt run without it. So I sent it back for a refund. Well that was over 2 weeks ago now and still no refund. I am spitting tacks. I would highly suggest that if you want computer parts on time and from a reliable supplier, DONT USE SUPER CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!. My next step is to go to the police and file theft charges. I wouldnt risk dealing with this micky mouse company ever again. SUPERCHEAP :badpc: |

God knows I wouldn't defend SCC unless held at the point of a gun, but you blew this one badly Cap'n . There were no legal grounds to return the goods, just an argument to have the RAM supplied . For the sake of a delay on RAM delivery and possibly having to source it elsewhere in the interim, you have put nearly $600 at risk . BAD decision . Nothing like a rush of blood to the head to turn a minor irritation over a correctable error into a full-blown disaster . And you still have to buy a replacement set of parts for your customer, who I assume paid you in advance . :groan: Don't bother the Police with it either, it is a commercial matter, not theft and as it stands it won't even be classifiable as fraudulent dealing until you have exhausted all rational avenues for settlement with SCC . I'd pay them a visit with my cap in my hand and try to reach a civilised outcome . At worst you could get back all the parts you returned plus maybe even the ram you paid for (was it listed on the invoice?) . Cheers Billy 8-{) |

Why would you want to order stuff RETAIL? Get your self an account at one or two of the reputable wholesalers. Just imagine if you had built this thing and several months later something failed - you'd never get any warranty from SC. Madness. |
