| 366906 | 2005-06-27 22:00:00 | Ah, I had begun to suspect that. I'd been playing mostly on ICONZ servers with occaisional visits elsewhere. The fact that I was getting some, minor, updates to my stats had started to make me think this might be happening. Oh well. Hope those stats aren't lost for good. I had loverly few minutes the other day when it came down to the last flag and I parked my Humvee right by the enemy's last spawn building and hosed down their roof-top spawn location. 10 cheap kills in a few minutes. | 366907 | 2005-06-28 02:28:00 | Well, I got my problems back last night, game locked solid when scanning for online games, Seems to be an issue many are complaining about, The fix was to change my connection to a t1 (yeah right) and then back to 256k or better (even thats pushing it). After doing so the game browser once again worked as per design (and what a poor design it is) The game itself is getting better and better, The ability to join squads and take orders gives a far more focused game then just running around....And hanging out the side of a chopper with a big-hairy-arse machine gun strafing the face of that humoungus dam was one of the best experiences I have had as far as games go. Saw Elim online last night, though he jumped in a jet and raced away I jumped in a chopper and immediatly crashed it into the sea, Takes a freaking long time to swim ashore I tell ya, especially 3 times in a row, only to be mowed down as soon as making land.... :D |

We were buzzing around in a Blackhawk, capping the flags and waxing anyone who objected with the miniguns. Helped that the enemy wasn't very organised. Anyone who really wanted to shoot us down could have done it in two ticks with a .50 cal. An organised clan-on-clan matchup in this game would so rock .... | Biggles (121) | ||

| 366910 | 2005-06-28 04:35:00 | Alas the much-loved Ti4400 gave up the ghost, expiring over period of weeks (screen flickering and blanking out) until one day it just went ... ping. Now I've got a Nvidia 6600 128MB. Not bleeding edge but all I could afford right now and it's certainly getting the job done... ... although at work I'm running a more humble ATI Radeon X300. BF2 doesn't look like anything special with it but it plays fine. |

I'd imagine ILL is part of D12's team :) The stats and acount problems are sorted again now, some idiot decided to make a 'point' and messed up the system. It got attention that's for sure. Ensure you are up to date on BF2 at http://bf2.nzbattlefield.com I'm bingo on ammo! |
