i've successfully cleaned printer heads by simply soakign them for a few mins in hot water......then drying them very carefully with a hairdryer afterwards.....you may need to repeat the process twice or so.....
I had hoped to try something like that (I have soaked the printface of an earlier printer in isopropyl alcohol head cleaning solution before) but as I mentioned above removing the printhead from this one is quite a mission and reinstalling and adjusting it is an even bigger one. |
