2008-04-15 11:42:00 Nope that's the opposite..........That's molex to sata. CaptainVincent (76)
2008-04-15 11:47:00 Oh okay. Would anyone be able to give me a link to a sata power to molex convertor then. Thanks.

What for?, have you found out the PSU rating yet?.......If its underated for your system, remember it could take out you card, motherboard and cpu!!

2008-04-15 11:51:00 I'll do that sometime tomorrow and post what I see. Just want to confirm something though. If the rating is good would it be okay to use a splitter to turn 1 molex into 2 for the molex to pci-e convertor or would I have to use the original molex and use a sata to molex convertor for the other half. Thanks. CaptainVincent (76)
2008-04-15 12:06:00 No, you will have to use separate rails! If your PSU doesnt have a PCIe connector, I doubt very much if it has enough amps for the card.....What card is it? SolMiester (139)
2008-04-15 12:11:00 9600gt... So you are saying I can't use either method D=? CaptainVincent (76)
2008-04-15 12:13:00 Just get a PSU with the adapters for the card on it Speedy Gonzales (78)
2008-04-15 12:20:00 I can't just get one. So can anyone reccomend a graphics card faster than the geforce 9500gt which doesn't need external power since I'm screwed and have no idea how to replace a psu cause I'm a kid ><. CaptainVincent (76)
2008-04-15 12:22:00 and by 9500gt I mean the new 9500gt released in the U.S. which is around gpuwise a 8600GTS without the external power. CaptainVincent (76)
