658875 2008-04-15 20:03:00 If you get an enclosure and put your own Hard Drive in it.
You can get an enclosure off Trademe that has various connection options, USB 2, Firewire 400 or 800, eSata, Ethernet, plus
IDE or SATA Hard Drive Support or some do both.

Then get the Size Hard Drive (Seagate of course) and put in it. You can swap it for a bigger HDD later if you need to.

658876 2008-04-17 08:00:00 You can get ready made 2.5" hard drives off trade me for about $130-$165 with postage of $5-$10, below are the urls of the cheapest and coolest.

www.trademe.co.nz
www.trademe.co.nz

Note: 2.5" drives usually spin at 5400 rpm while 3.5" drives spin usually spin at 7200+ ,this will mean that a 2.5" will probably take 5~10 secs longer per Gb to tranfer data, also when e sata is much faster than USB so try to buy an external hard drive with E sata
