| 367142 | 2005-06-26 21:09:00 | UPDATE! MSNBC has posted some of the confusiing rhetoric that the US is gonna face soon . In their article on the facts as they are today, ( . msnbc . msn . com/id/7593620" target="_blank">www . msnbc . msn . com) is some more insight as to just why the prices of old analog sets are getting so low and everybody is scooping up these new low low prices . Little do they know the full story . . . . this however, is subject to the whims and driving forces of manufacturers rubbing their hands together in advent of the money that will soon be gracing their palms . :2cents: We saw it before when 33's were replaced by 45's; 45's by 4-tracks; 4-tracks by 8-tracks; 8-tracks by cassettes; cassettes by cd's; cd's by and so on . Every change was a great $$ impact on the manufacturers . They have nothing to lose . . sell what exists or generate a new hole that needs to filled . . . . . just a thought . . . . |
