366645 2005-06-24 21:59:00 Don't get sore guys.

If/when the site comes up, great. But sheesh, it's easy to be sidetracked.

Thx for the update Metla.

I wonder if you'll still be saying that when Longhorn has been released?

Because at the current rate they've removed everything out of Longhorn that sounded to be of any use. We'll have to wait and see though. My guess is for what is essentially a new theme for XP, that will be the main change.

Must be quite clever to be able to second guess what a 1000 programmers are up to.

Oh wait, they are releasing that for XP too :)
Well at least the name will be a bit more unusual this time round - I guess ya gotta wait longer for a longer named Win O/S :p

Why would people want a new file system? NTFS will deal with most hard drives. Even FAT32 will deal with all hard drives I have ever seen if partitioned in the right way.

Then of course there is always Linux which has a different file system.

When is it going to be noticed that people use applications to get actual work done?

If the application will not work due to the O/S or the hardware will not work under the O/S then the person will have a problem.

366653 2005-06-26 03:48:00 This made it nesercary to rewite a sizeable chunk of the code, so after a good half an hour of....uh...discussing (swearing over msn is a hard case) why it would be needed we held back going live to get the work done.Glad to see you'd rather delay and get it more or less right first time. A much better way to go about things thinkith me. personthingy (1670)
