366128 2005-06-23 05:25:00 cheese?

Well the minute someone says something retarded like " I weep for the future of all mankind" based on a spelling error, I will do my duty and bark like a dog.

It is such a pain that some people have to work to earn a living instead of spending all day entertaining the likes of us. :D

Thought this thread would be like cheese to a mouse for him.Cadbury Fruit and Nut chocolate is far more tasty to mice than cheese. ;)

366132 2005-06-23 12:02:00 Well the minute someone says something retarded like " I weep for the future of all mankind" based on a spelling error, I will do my duty and bark like a dog.I didn't think it needed saying - isn't it obvious that the end of civilisation as we know it is near when we see shock horror material like this?:rolleyes::help: Tony (4941)
366133 2005-06-23 20:17:00 Seeing as this is a thread with a pedantic bent, I don't mind saying this...

I noticed the same thing, but I hope it said "stationery". "Stationary" would be just toooo bad. And of course in the line quoted above it should have said "Warehouse Stationery's" reply - it was the reply of Warehouse Stationery, so it was a possessive and should have had the apostrophe.

Remember "stationery" has 'e' as in "pen" and "stationary" has "a" as in "car".

Oh deer, I maid a misteak two.

366134 2005-06-23 20:53:00 Oh deer, I maid a misteak two.Good to see you spell-checked this post. :D

I wouldn't have made the comments if the subject of the thread hadn't been about accuracy in grammar and spelling - it seemed somewhat ironic in the context. ;)
