| 659178 | 2008-04-15 12:00:00 | I have a laptop with a wireless nic and sometimes I need to connect using a cable when reception is poor. Do I need to disable wireless when I am connected by cable or can both connections operate at the same time? They use different IP addresses. | bpt2 (6653) | ||

| 659180 | 2008-04-15 12:08:00 | I've never wanted to use Wireless when I have access to a wired connection. For me, the wired connection works by default but when I want for my Firefox to use the wireless connection, I go to my network connections and disable the wired connection. I guess if it helps you, try disable the wireless (just open up Network Connections, right click on the wireless one and click on disable) and provided you have a working wired connection, your browser should know to use that then. | Deathwish (143) | ||
