| 366635 | 2005-06-24 05:05:00 | As some may have noticed the launch of the site is long overdue, The story is that we were ready to go live with just the last few features being implented on the site...at which point I decided I wasn't happy with 1 aspect and requested it be configured differently. This made it nesercary to rewite a sizeable chunk of the code, so after a good half an hour of....uh...discussing (swearing over msn is a hard case) why it would be needed we held back going live to get the work done. As far as I know the requested changes have been made and the site is near ready to go live, At which time the site builder had relatives from overseas arrive,which meant removing his home PC to make room for them, The fact that he is only doing the work in his spare time means without his home comp no work is being done. Mix that in with his real workload increasing and my workload go crazy for a couple of weeks then we have managed to get nothing done. Anyhow, The inlaws are off on Sunday and work will once again begin in earnest, And I am hoping for a launch within 5 days of us getting back into it, This will mean just making sure it works and upoloading her, so some areas may be lacking polish. |
