1425918 2016-09-11 10:38:00 Running 6.0.1.

A couple of days ago it 'forgot' my car bluetooth, my clock radio bluetooth and a couple of other bluetooth devices. It won't even 'see' my car now, even if I try to force connect.

Any ideas?

1425919 2016-09-11 11:25:00 Does it see anything at all? Sounds like it's faulty. Has it been dropped at all? Chilling_Silence (9)
1425920 2016-09-11 11:29:00 No - hasn't been dropped.

It can connect to the soundbar for the TV and my Halo Fusion headset - but doesn't 'see' anything else. It's bizarre.

I also have a Moto G (2nd gen) that sees all four devices but only their MAC addresses - doesn't resolve to the device names

1425921 2016-09-11 11:36:00 And was working perfectly a couple of days ago. No Android updates in that timeframe... johcar (6283)
1425922 2016-09-12 02:57:00 Weird!
Factory reset time! :D

I'm pretty sure it was the 5X that had a bunch of bluetooth issues, not the 6, but I could be mistaken...

1425923 2016-09-12 03:22:00 Yes, I was also thinking factory reset. But as I am about to leave for Europe for three weeks, I might just let it slide for now.

Maybe Nougat will sort it all out....

1425924 2016-09-12 04:27:00 Have you tried restarting it? Android generally doesn't need it but the old "turn it off and back on" trick still applies for fault finding.

I like the quick connect feature of 6/6.01 and so far have not had it forget anything luckily. Using a note 5 myself.

1425925 2016-09-12 04:29:00 Yep. Restarting problem devices is my go-to tool in the first instance... johcar (6283)
1425926 2016-09-13 05:19:00 Bizarrely, it seems to have sorted itself. I got my daughter to try to connect her 5X at the same time as me, and out popped up. All good!!! johcar (6283)
1425927 2016-09-13 23:12:00 Score!
Weird though...
