2016-09-07 02:54:00 | Hi all, Years ago HD-Canada-meds was caught and deleted permently by ESET Now recently this outfit have re started hounding ( I DO NOT want cheap Viagra and so on :devil-ESET intercepts it and it disappears, only to re pop up with lines drawn trough it and "not available on the net" -but it keeps coming , keeps being stopped but nothing I do ie sending the address to junk mail, block sender and so on-- there it is again, even as I write this. Every conceivable attempt successfully is told to block it etc but this time ESET cannot block it at source as was successful long ago :( and I even go onto ESET website etc and do the same from there Any ideas? | 1425740 | 2016-09-07 03:38:00 | Depending on how you read your mail you could set up a filter to auto delete the offending mail. In outlook for example you can right click an e-mail, slect rules, create rule, and make a rule from there. Generally the advanced options is the best Idea as it gives you more options.

2016-09-07 04:34:00 | Hi Dugimodo, Nah I have every faith in ESET, and it does wipe automatically, but as ESET completely blocked HQ-Canadian-meds long ago, this cropping up and being unable to block as it did once- the question is why and what is allowing the spam to be unable to be blocked at source now. Thanks anyway Effie c

2016-09-07 21:04:00 | You may need to check / alter the blacklist ( just a thought) have a look at the picture, go to the settings pictured and see what you have. Add to black list if not there. One other problem may be if they are using spoofed email addresses, it may not be able to block as they are rotating all the time. 7409

2016-09-07 21:58:00 | Hi all, Any ideas? Effie c Yes, be realistic with expectations. There is no perfect antispam system. Even professional anti-spam services are not 100% The tighter the anti spam system, the more legit emails that will get blocked, so its allways a tradeoff, and the spammers really are evolving & staying 1 step ahead of antispam systems I would start by making a filter in Outlook, using keywords . If thats not good enough, pay for a professional antispam service (not just some antispam software) :)

2016-09-07 22:27:00 | Hi Smithie 38 and 1101, Just been talking to Chillisoft and all their assistance lead to the confirmation that ESET, me, W10 etc are all correctly set and working correctly . . As I say, I am pleased with ESET working - would never try any other, and ESET does send HQ . Canadian-Meds to the ESET spam folder, I see the "new" mail just in and instantly ESET dsends it to the ESET spam folder, only for it to bounce back once, then finally come back with a line drawn through it, which Chillisoft confirm ESET has worked- it is no longer on their server------ Ah well, I will live with it, but I sure which I could get the Canadian Prime Minister to kick some ones bum for me ;-) Effie c

2016-09-07 22:53:00 | only to re pop up with lines drawn through it and "not available on the net" are you using imap or a gmail/ms sync plugin ? ie not pop3? Ive seen that with imap, deleted mail will have the line through it , untill it re-syncs fully with the email server I think Outlook has an imap option to hide del mail (as ESET will be del/moving it)
