so every so often when im on my computer one of the cores just jumps to 100% load and it goes all stutter framed for a second, ive made sure a program aint doing it but still have no clue why it does it. please and thanks for the help. |

Highly unlikely it's hardware.
Find what process is running when it does it that uses it all. |

so google chrome is causing the cpu to go to only about 30% but it maxes out a single core for some reason do you know why it would only make a single core jump to max out? |

what plugins do you have - a good chance that one of those can play up and max out a single core |
