| 1425676 | 2016-09-05 21:19:00 | Hi. I am sure there are a few on this forum using CCleaner. Before I upgraded to W10 from W7 it used to take about 4-5 hours to do a driver wipe. Now it takes 10-12 hours. What can cause this? Next. When I access this forum from my desktop shortcut I very quickly get the web page but with only the banner title at the top. All grey from there down. I have to try several times before I get the full page. When I do then I get the same problem when I click on a post. Many thanks in anticipation of a reply. |

The latter is slower, and can be really slow depending upon the choice you have made for the number of Overwrites. I have no idea why it is slower on W10 compared with W7. Personally on W8 and W10 I have never had anything like "hours" taken to complete a clean, so I am wondering if I am not understanding what you mean by "driver wipe"... |
