1425272 2016-09-02 04:51:00 At work I use Outlook 2010 for my emails. I now have to go on a work trip and will be using a tablet, in the past I have just taken my laptop, but now I need to know if there is anyway to get the outlook 2010 on my tablet too? I can get remote access via my email host (hope that makes sense) but I can't see any past emails or saved email folders and I really need access to this. Is this possible? DakotaNZ (17161)

Does the tablet have windows on it?

1425274 2016-09-02 05:15:00 Some sort of remote desktop app, to remotely connect to your computer at work, might be an easier option.
If the Outlook emails are in a PST file, using a POP account, then you won't be able to get access to them on the tablet's mail app.

It will be an awefull experience , remote controll via a tablet. Unless its a large tablet.
You need to install it on the PC as well, & setup for unattended access .
make sure all power save is off, and you may need to ring in to get the PC started/woken . Test before going away.

You can also get Outlook for android...
but, it all depends on how the Work Email is setup. Pop3,exchange, hosted exchange, imap etc etc etc

what is normally done is to just use the Tablets/ph built in email app to connect to the mail server.
It is possible to get access to everything, mail, calander, contacts. But it all depends on how you work email(server) is setup.
If its POP3 email, then the ONLY way to see sent email etc is via remote access

Also, connecting to server/exchange can give your Work rights to remote wipe the Tablet (if its stolen or if you leave)
People have had their person ph's remotely wiped after they quit/fired .

The first thing you should do is talk to your works IT, especially before setting up any sort of remote access. Make sure you get permission to do any of this.
