1423137 2016-07-15 07:53:00 It's a question of which side are you on as with many things.

I am a none believer but I wouldn't put life on it.

1423138 2016-07-15 08:27:00 I'd put mine on it as long as I live until it happens. ;) B.M. (505)
1423139 2016-07-15 08:38:00 It's good to see a well reasoned argument with evidence for a change instead of just someone expressing their opinion as fact which is what we see so often.
I think the danger with this line of thinking though is that it leads some people to think that means it's ok to make no changes to our environmental impact or population growth because they see no consequences.

Acting as if we are causing global warming and trying to do something about it will not hurt the planet. It may cause short term harm to the economy but that's another issue.
However doing nothing because we don't believe we are hurting the climate does have some potential, however small, for causing some serious harm. If you're going to make a mistake and get it wrong I know which side I'd rather err in favour of.

In any case I enjoy reading the arguments and trying to figure out who's right. Neither side has truly convinced me yet.

1423140 2016-07-15 09:01:00 I agree, but we should not confuse two issues.

Global Warming / Climate Change is a nonissue.

Pollution is quite another and should be addressed sensibly.

Far more people have died of disease caused by pollution than rising sea levels, given that no one has died of rising sea levels unless they somehow succumb to the normal rising tide. ;)

Yes, it's such a trustworthy and reliable organisation
I'd like to point out any organization which feels the use a trust/trust fund to separate itself from legal action it commences, is usually as dubious as that action.

Have a quick look at something actually credible - http://climate.nasa.gov/
