Was just checking the software out and looked in malwaretips to find it had only just come up as a giveaway so grabbed it Run it and found I had a DNS hijacker,only thing I was running a different DNS with DNS Jumper so it's pretty highly strung software and could create havoc with some installations |

I have a couple of files that nearly everything has complained about for a few years now. I have to exclude them. This did not even mention them, they are harmless....one is the way it was packed. The other is technically naughty but clean. All I got was the actual browser Hijacker I did have, and couldn't find so good on it. |

| 1425702 | 2016-09-06 08:10:00 | My test run shows the importance of going through all the settings before running it "straight out of the box", the default settings do things you may prefer to have control over. When Tencent Inc. took over Foxmail they tended to add crapware, and this is probably why Zemana and other antimalware programs sometimes complain |

| 1425704 | 2016-09-15 23:19:00 | I just uninstalled the trial version of Zeman using Revo-advanced which removed heaps and heaps of entries, But using regedit and 'Everything' found heaps more that Revo did not remove. Manually removed stuff from the registry, then ran Registry First Aid which found more, and manually deleted stuff that Everything found. After a lot of effort finally had a Zemana - Zam free computer :) So just be aware that it adds lots of crap that a simple uninstall will not remove. Moan...Why can't program software writers just write a proper uninstall program that actually works ??? |
