Yes you can go i7, watercooling, Dual graphics cards, etc, but that increases the price much faster than it increases the gaming fun. The resolution is a big factor as well. A 1060 is all you need for 1920 x 1080 and a 1070 is good enough for or 2460 x 1440 so buying a 1080 to play at those resolutions is a bit of a waste. (Same for AMD cards I'm just less familiar with which models) An i7 may be worth having, but up until now has not helped with games enough to be noticeable. |
