1422520 2016-07-01 03:36:00 Chromecast is the way to go. I have a recent model Sony smart TV but it is quicker and easier to use my tablet as a remote and Chromecast to the TV than to use the built in Sony system. CliveM (6007)
1422521 2016-07-01 05:57:00 I noticed something afoot after I had purchased.

Now how to cancel.

If applicable, run a HDMI cable from your laptop computer to the TV then use the TV as a monitor. If you haven't sold your Surface, it should handle it.

I bought a 5M long HDMI cable just for this purpose.

Any thing you can get on your smartphone/tablet or on a computer using the Chrome browser can be sent to your TV via the Chromecast device Cicero

1422524 2016-07-01 10:38:00 You dont have to use Chrome for a chromecast. I put FF on my android that works as well

Might try the chromecast with a widi card when I get one. Heard that works with it too
