| 1484779 | 2022-03-08 03:02:00 | Are these any good? I'm thinking of trying to not feel so slothful for sitting at the PC for so long. The prices vary hugely - $50 to $1000+. Any personal experiences? |

If its aweful to use you wont keep using it . For a good experience, you want some sort of mass to have to spin up . It just feels so more natural than a simple resistance . Also , magnetic rather than friction resistance feels better to me , more proportional resistance ? . With under desk, chances are your seat & sitting position wont make it it easy to use . If your chair can move or swivel that will make things worse Honestly , just buy an Exercycle. Your posture will be correct while doing it . I have an old PC (or could use a TV) setup in front of my Exercycle , so I can watch TV programs while I pedal. Perhaps an under desk Elliptical might be a better choice than pedals ? less bad rather than good ?. |

I'm really looking to not feel so guilty about sitting at the PC for long periods. :) I'd also wondered about an elliptical, but I don't know anything about them. |

You need to make it a fun habit . Have a TV or radio program that you will ONLY watch while on the exercycle/whatever . Or make it a challenge to go longer or faster each month , a bit of motivation to keep at it . I also had a rowing machine. Far better than exercycles as you use more than just legs . But for some reason I hated the rowing machine , wasnt fun , too boring , so I sold that. |

I always liked the rowing machine back in the day when I actually went to the gym. The reason I have never bought one is that they take up too much room. Half the problem is that I am not a "voluntary exerciser", I do it because I know it is good for me,so it is far too easy to find excuses not to. |

No pun received because the word is actually "peddled" :) At Cubii.com they range from $269 - $329, but I suspect that is USD. That would be the absolute max that I would want to pay. There is also a review here (www.healthline.com) that ia a bit mixed. |

| 1484786 | 2022-03-09 03:00:00 | I have seen a Cubii in real life, it was offered for sale to me for $300 because the owner needed the money, apparently he paid $600. It was far larger than the machine I saw in the tv advert, very well made and robustly built, solid as. I was taken aback by how large it was and the price and did not purchase it. |

If you look at the cubii website there seem to be several models. Would you be able to identify the one you were offered? |
