Stories of defacing monuments & statues, comparing this to the Holocaust , throwing pooh at the police, beating up reporters, harassing school kids for wearing masks . www.stuff.co.nz So, a petition against them is now over 110,000 . www.change.org How long before the Welly public start taking action themselves & confront them & try & force them out ? Perhaps the police just need to block access into the area . Dont let any people , food & water in , see how long they last then ? |

| 1484453 | 2022-02-21 19:22:00 | Probably not the wisest move on my part, but when I initially told my boss I wasn't going to go in the office because of the protestors, she said they won't be an issue, just ignore them. My response was there's no way in hell I'm going to ignore idiots who are insulting me, hence why I'm not going in. Of course, it was only yesterday afternoon the company decided to close the office, it's just off Molesworth Street |

Had the Government engaged with them on day one it would be over by now. They have no problem getting together with the Mongrel Mob or any other group of individuals. Unless we want to live in a country where people hate each other we have to accept that we don't actually have to agree with everyone to understand other points of view and get along together. |

Unless we want to live in a country where people hate each other we have to accept that we don't actually have to agree with everyone to understand other points of view and get along together. That's the issue here. Both sides (well, there's probably at least four sides here, the genuine protestors on both sides, the just want to cause **** side, and the want to get rid of the government becuase thery believe there is a better government tucked away out of sight somewhere) need to understand other points of view and just get along, and agree to disagree with other stuff, and not force your agenda on those who don't want it |
