2021-12-08 03:44:00 | Can't scan from my Brother MFC-L2713DW to my newly Win11 PC. Error: Cannot connect to PC I have installed the driver from Brother, works fine. I could scan from my Win11 PC's Brother Utilities without problem. It was working perfectly fine with Win10. This is the very first time using it from Win11. Any suggestions?

2021-12-08 03:59:00 | Printer is connected to my Router via Wireless. I have restarted both my PC and the Printer. Doesn't help.

2021-12-08 06:52:00 | Is there any settings that I can do to get it connect to my PC? Other than this issue, it works fine. Scanning from the PC works OK. What have I missed out? You reckon I should reinstall the driver?

2021-12-08 07:04:00 | Did you download the FULL Package from Brother ? support.brother.com The basic Drivers dont contain everything you need. Got the Same Printer running from W11 Fine, only difference is mines connected Via ethernet through the Router. Try the Windows Scan App from the MS Store - Works better 11219 11220

2021-12-08 07:36:00 | I can scan from my PC using the Brother Utilities scan option, no problem; but I can't scan from the Printer to my Win11 computer, it says that cannot connect to the PC. I just tried the Windows Scan App, but it spits out error scanning. I downloaded and installed the full package, but remember vaguely that at some point, it asked whether to load something when Windows starts and I clicked NO. May be that's the problem. But it prints OK from Word, Excel and emails. No problem at all. Just tried the Windows Scan App. this it time works OK.. My problem now is, I cannot scan from the Printer and send the file to my computer!

2021-12-08 08:15:00 | wainuitech, are you able to scan from the Printer (using the 'Scan' button on the Printer) and send the file to your Win11 PC? | bk T (215) | |
2021-12-08 08:43:00 | Never use that method, found over the years they are all very unreliable, and the amount of select this that and the other (Options) its quicker to simply open the App, either Brothers or Microsoft Scan and the with MS Scan you can move the corners of the scan window and crop the section you want. Seen quite a few people may only want a picture ( lets say 1/4 of the page) and scan the whole page instead, with the crop you do just that crop out and only scan what you want.

2021-12-08 19:51:00 | but I can't scan from the Printer to my Win11 computer, it says that cannot connect to the PC . that scan method sometimes just doesnt work properly . Seen that plenty of times , often after upgrading to Win10 (even a new PC) newer builds of Win10 also seemed to make that issue worse could it be a SMB1 issue , just a guess . smb1 is now a bit broken on Win10 (&Win11 ?), even though it can be enabled on W10 .

2021-12-08 20:29:00 | Good morning, 1101, but, it worked perfectly fine with my old Win10 (before I upgraded to Win11 recently) from day 1 since I bought this Printer. Quite used how the way it works; but, anyway, I got to change my good old habit.
